FLASHFLOOD HIT SEVEN (7) BARANGAYS OF BAGUMBAYAN

On January 15, 2013 at around 7:00 o’clock in the evening due to heavy rains and temporary damming in certain portions of Sepaka,  Kataan  and Kabulanan Rivers flash flood occurred in seven (7) barangays of Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat, namely: Bai Saripinang, South Sepaka, Busok, Tuka, Kinayao, Kabulanan and Biwang. According to a Consolidated Report of MDRRMC of the Municipality of Bagumbayan dated January 17, 2013,  ten (10) houses partially damaged and seven (7) totally damaged and one (1) Day Care Center.  Damaged to Infra and agriculture  was estimated to have reached to  P13,170,000.00 and P3,275,201.81, respectively, with twenty one (21) families displaced.  Photos below were taken in the early morning of January 16, 2013 by OIC-ENRO Dan P. Robles and Staff in coordination with MENRO Willy Mostacho and Barangay Captain Bandada.
