Tacurong City— More than 2,000 beneficiaries in Tacurong City availed the free medical services through the “Laboratoryo, Konsulta, at Gamot para sa Lahat” (LAB For All) program, an outreach initiative offering free physical checkups, medical consultations, and laboratory tests. The event was organized by the Department of Health Region XII in partnership with the City Health Office.

Simultaneously, the Assistance in Crisis Situation program was also held, benefiting over 3,000 individuals who each received P3,000 in cash aid. This financial assistance was provided by the Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat in collaboration with the City Government of Tacurong, facilitated through the Department of Social Welfare and Development XII headed by Edmundo S. Corder, RSW.

Sultan Kudarat Governor Datu Pax Ali Sangki Mangudadatu attended the event and delivered a keynote speech, outlining his administration’s initiatives for the province, with a special focus on Tacurong City. Mayor Joseph George L. Lechonsito also gave a message of support, congratulating the beneficiaries and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the city and provincial government.

Also present were officials from both the provincial and city governments, including First District Board Member Hon. Ian Jordan Abalos, Hon. Jose Remos P. Segura, Sultan Kudarat SK Federation President Hon.John Raynan Kilayco, and members of the 9th Sangguniang Panlungsod of Tacurong: Hon. Ralen Tabusares-Bernardo, Hon. Geronimo Arzagon, Hon. Harvey P. Legas, Hon. Toto Umadhay, Hon. Carlos Segura Jr., Hon. Geraldine Collado, Hon. Nestor Casador, and Hon. Jose Beng Lim.
