DILG Sec. Benhur Abalos Hails Sultan Kudarat as a Model Province for Peace and Progress at 'Handog ng Pangulo' Event

Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr. lauded the provincial government of Sultan Kudarat for being a benchmark for other LGUs in terms of peace and development and providing needed services to its people.
“Ikinagagalak kong magpunta rito sapagkat sa totoo lang, isa ito sa pinakamagaling na probinsya sa buong Pilipinas at ako ang saksi rito, “Abalos said in his speech during the Handog ng Pangulo : Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat event at the provincial gymnasium on September 13.
“Lahat tayo may iba’t-ibang pananampalataya, ang kailangan lamang natin ay respeto, pag-unawa at tolerance. At isang example na mayroong ganun at dapat gayahin ng lahat ay ang Sultan Kudarat,” the official added.
Abalos is the guest speaker for the Sultan Kudarat-leg of Handog ng Pangulo : Serbisyong Sapat Para sa Lahat. This is also in celebration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s 67th birthday.
