Mission

To formulate, organize and supervise in the implementation of a Comprehensive Social Welfare Programs and Services in Sultan Kudarat Province, that is designed to uplift the quality of life of DISADVANTAGED FAMILIES, CHILDREN, YOUTH, MEN AND WOMEN, ADULT AND DISTINCT CULTURAL COMMUNITIES to become productive, self-reliant and participative members of the community in social reform and development

Our Commitment

We, the employees of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) of Sultan Kudarat Province, do hereby form as a team, collectively bind ourselves and fervently commit to do the following:

  • Provide our people with safe direction and protection by making them aware of the rights and privileges afforded to them by our Government especially to those who are vulnerable to abuses such as women, children, handicapped and elderly;
  • Satisfy the customer’s needs with warm reception, candor, sincerity, humility, fairness and willingness to serve regardless of tribe and creed and also make them feel that our office exists for the promotion of their welfare;
  • Withstand the pressure by quickly responding to the community needs in times of distress and provide the possible measures to mitigate the resulting sufferings and discomforts;
  • Deliver the basic social services as mandated to us by law, rules and equity being one of the implementing arms of the Provincial Government of Sultan Kudarat in dispensing social welfare services to our people; and
  • Offer best practices in dispensing services which are anchored on the principles of Transparency, Accountability, Competence, Courtesy, Dedication, Integrity, Justice, compliant with the existing Civil Service Rules and Regulations and PGSK Core Values:

Service Strategy

  • To extend basic social services and immediate intervention to individual, families, PWDS, socially disadvantaged and displaced who are victims of disaster.
  • To coordinate and collaborate with other stakeholders and non- Government organization, civil society organization and accredited community volunteers   association/ organization for their augmentation support to needy populace.
  • To support and assist in the implementation of special/ priority projects of the provincial government.
